Aberdeen, MD – November 11, 2020 – First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification is a bi-annual requirement for all Benfield Electric Project Managers and Foremen. “The health and safety of our employees is our top priority,” said Mike Anderson, Safety Director at Benfield Electric Co.
Health and Safety have been a particular focus this year, due to COVID-19 restrictions. To ensure COVID protocols were followed, the number of participants for each training session was limited to allow social distancing, and latex gloves were used while working with CPR mannequins and defibrillators.
Additionally, Benfield Electric Co. has a routine COVID safety plan which includes daily temperature readings and screening forms for all employees and visitors, in addition to mandatory face coverings and frequent disinfecting of surfaces.
This year’s First Aid, CPR, and AED training sessions are being conducted by Heart to Beat, LLC. “Safety training is critically important and so is the right equipment to put skills to work,” says Heart to Beat’s Facebook page.
